Transforming Mindsets for Conservation
To preserve biodiversity within the Dja Biosphere Reserve, ACDEF collaborated with the communities of Schouam and Somalomo to implement green enterprises rooted in agroecological practices. By overcoming initial resistance to moving away from traditional slash-and-burn farming, this initiative has proven that collective intelligence can align local economic growth with forest preservation.
